              Description
Surrounded by trees and flowers and just a few steps from the Military-Historic San Juan Hill Park, where the last battles of the Spanish-Cuban-US war took place in 1898, the Hotel Islazul San Juan reflects the unique Caribbean grace, shapes and architecture of Santiago de Cuba, the island’s second most important city, acknowledged by many as the most hospitable and welcoming of all cities in Cuba. The hotel is located some 4 kilometers from the historic heart of Santiago, so that interacting with this cheerful, musical people and strolling thorough the history and tradition-laden streets will take you just a few minutes. The birthplace of the Tradicional Trova (Traditional Cuban Music) and of many other Cuban musical genres, Santiago de Cuba is famous for its carnivals and popular street festivities. The culture of joviality, the gift of hospitality, the meticulous service by its employees, as well as the facilities it offers all clients, are this hotel's most distinctive features.
